Biomed Oy’s customer and marketing register
The personal data in the customer register is stored mainly for order processing, billing information, and customer relationship management. Other secondary reasons for the retention of personal data are: verification of customer transactions, customer service and business development, marketing, analysis and statistics, surveys and market research, and other similar uses.
The register may contain the following information: contact information such as name, address, phone numbers, email addresses registration information such as username, nickname, password and any other unique identifier age, gender, educational degree or occupation and mother tongue customer relationship information, product and order information, vendor information, recruitment information, customer feedback and contacts, lottery and competition response information, and cancellation information information related to the implementation of the communication and information on the use of the services, such as browsing and search information profiling information collected through cookies and other such technologies any profiling and interest, information provided by the customer registration and participation in events, downloading guides information on newsletter downloads and other marketing preferences, any permits and consents, any information denial and blocking information, any other information collected with the customer’s consent.
Information about the customer is regularly obtained from the customer herself via the Internet, in writing, by e-mail or other similar means, or by means of cookies and other similar technologies.
Biomed Oy’s owners and employees process personal data. Only those employees who are entitled to process personal data for their work are entitled to use the system containing customer data.
If necessary, Biomed Oy may also partially outsource the processing of personal data to a third party, in which case we guarantee through contractual arrangements that the personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and otherwise appropriately.
We use profiling to improve customer service and target marketing to customer groups.
The information stored in the register is not normally disclosed outside the company, nor outside the EU or the EEA. We have ensured that all of our service providers comply with data protection laws. Biomed Oy may disclose customer data to the authorities within the limits permitted and mandatory by applicable legislation. Data may be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area to the extent permitted by the Personal Data Act.
The customer register is treated as confidential.
Manual material
Manually processed documents containing personal data will be properly destroyed after processing.
Electronically stored data
Only employees who have the right to process customer data for their work are entitled to use the system containing customer data. The information is collected in databases that are protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical means. The databases and their backups are located in locked spaces and can only be accessed by certain pre-designated individuals.
The data subject has the right to check the data concerning her stored in the register. The customer has the right to find out what information about him / her has been stored in the personal register or that there is no information about him / her in the register after stating the facts necessary for searching for information.
Contacts concerning the right of inspection must be made in writing and signed to the address mentioned in section 1. Biomed Oy will respond within one (1) month.
If there are errors in the registered information, the data subject may submit a request for correction of the error to the address mentioned in section 1 by post or telephone +38443384084 or by e-mail to info@biomed.fi or to the person responsible for registration matters mentioned in section 2.
Biomed Oy takes care of the accuracy and integrity of customer information.
The data subject has the right to prohibit the controller from processing personal data about him / her for direct mail, distance selling and other direct marketing, as well as for market and opinion research, as well as for personal registration and genealogy.
